MODEL UNITED NATIONS
We are extremely proud to present MUN !
The Catholic University of Portugal - Oporto Law School, alongside with ELSA UCP Porto have been recognized for the organization of multiple international events and Model United Nations has gathered participants from all over the world and left a mark on their education.
We have organized a strong academic programme, which involves both theoretical and practical moments, such as an International Conference with a recognized panel of lecturers and three Debate Committees, each focusing on a different theme.
The Model United Nations is an international conference that simulates the debates that take place in the various committees that compose the United Nations.
Within each committee (such as Human Rights, Political and the Eco-Social), delegates act as representatives of a nation and have the task of debating issues of global relevance - all whilst having in mind the ideals of the nation they have been assigned.
A MUN is a great opportunity to learn about diplomacy and international relations in a social and inviting context where delegates have the chance of working alongside and getting to know other students from all over the world.
It is a renowned conference that happens in Oxford, Harvard and many other world class universities - as a result, you will get a certificate that will surely be appreciated by employers in you CV.
The only thing we are missing is your application!
